Currently looking for collaborators to co-create and pilot a community-owned housing and creative makers space project to set a new standard for living in Ireland amidst a heartbreaking housing crisis where once again (since the 1840s under the British Empire) Irish natives are fleeing the country and communities in droves to escape housing poverty. Families are being raised in hotel rooms with children facing their 3rd Christmas in emergency accommodation. Young adults are being denied the opportunity to start their own families, living with their parents into middle-age. It’s criminal and it doesn’t need to be like this. None of this was written in stone.
It’s time to redesign the property system from scratch which is based on greed and misuse of power and finally let the land be legally reclaimed and stewarded for and by the communities who live there and let them take care of it. I’m here for it. We have the solutions and I’m ready to implement them.
