I designed & crafted this sheep’s wool gilet, from scratch - from raw sheep’s wool. Inspired by an earlier project cleaning and felting sheep’s wool. This project is an exploration of how fashion design could help to revive the Irish rural economy, by using existing native materials in both new + ancient ways.
